I have activated Beanstream with merchant account information and trying to test with demo mode with sandbox, but its showing Authorization Failed when tried to use the following information provided : test cc card :
the amount in question is $1.00

Beanstream Sandbox Mode

Test Master Card # 5100000010001004

Exp: 10/2012

CVV2: 123

Debug Mode Is Turned On

Now since the exp date provided is not correct so I have tried using 2013, but same and after couple of tries following msg appears :

Attention: Your transaction was declined for the following reason(s):
Authorization Failed – Access lockout contact support

About the merchant account it does work properly, so not sure why it is failing.

please reply as soon as possible.

thanks!

Hi there,

If your account access has been locked out, you can contact Beanstream support, we don’t have a means to unlock the account.

Hi there,

Thanks Josh, the issue was that Beanstream activation isn’t asking for username and password for the merchant account, so I have customized that to be displayed in settings and allow admin to save it.

Doing that I was able to achieve it to make it work on my local, but unfortunately it doesn’t work on the staging server. The authorization is failing with the beanstream.

The code isn’t different , the only difference is that staging server is .net, which I think shouldn’t be any issue either.

Let me know if you see anything else causing it ?

Hi John,

I’m a little confused, the beanstream gateway settings only has a field for Merchant ID. Are you saying that it also needs a password too? It seems to work fine without adding any additional fields.
