Attendee Added with no Attendee Information Recorded

Hi,

When an attendee fills out the attendee information and then proceeds to payment options, all the attendee’s information is still fine.
But as soon as the attendee completes the registration, all of the attendee’s information is gone.
The attendee is added to the list, but without any details(name, email, etc.).

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Hi Craig,

I’ve just ran a registration and can see the issue on the Order Confirmation.

I notice the site is running 4.2.6, the latest version is currently 4.2.7, can you update to the latest version of EE4 and then I can retest if this issue remains.

Have you altered any of the Event Espresso core files?

I have updated to the latest version of EE4 and the problem still persists.
There is only one Event Espresso core file that has been change, the file that outputs the invoice.
I hope this helps.

It only records the answer to the “Phone Number – System Question”. Everything else is not recorded.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Registrations

Can you see the the registrations there?

If so select a registration and on the right you’ll see ‘View / Edit this contact’ click there – http://take.ms/7dgtZ

Is any of the contact information saved?

Yes, i can see the registrations.

After clicking ‘View / Edit this contact’ the edit contact page opened, but there are no contact details except for the phone number.

Can you enable WP_Debug on the site so I can run a registration with that active? I’d like to see if any errors are being thrown.

Would it be possible for us to take a look at the registrations? If so please send temporary login details using:

WP_Debug has been enabled and the login details have been sent.

Hi Craig,

I’ve been investigating this but have been unable to reproduce on my test sites.

The next step is to try a full troubleshoot, this would involve temporarily de-activating all plugins and re-running a registration to see if the issue is still present.

If not re-activate each plugin one by one, running a registration through in between each one to find which plugin is causing the problem.

I suspect this could be due to the members plugin you are currently using, if EE4’s critical pages (Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages) are not publicly accessible this could cause issues.

Thank you.

I switched off the members plugin and did a registration and it recorded all the attendee information.
Is there a way to get both plugins to run at the same time and work?

Can you selectively open content to the public?

We would need to do some troubleshooting with the plugin and EE to find a workaround for this.

yes, i can selectively open content to the public.
The pages that the event uses and the event category should all be public.

Hi Craig,

We would need to do some troubleshooting with Wishlist to narrow this down some, do you have a development version of the site we could run some testing on?

Hi,

Sorry, we don’t have a development version of the site.
But we have figured out a work around for this problem.
Thank you for all the help!

For future reference, what membership plugins would you suggest we use with event espresso?

Hi Craig,

It depends. What are you looking to do with a membership plugin? Restrict content access, charge for memberships? Here’s a comparison guide that may help:

Please note: We currently do not have an EE4 integration with a membership plugin, but WP membership plugins generally can be used alongside Event Espresso 4.

We solved the problem by moving off a multi site WordPress installation.

Thank you for all the help, much appreciated.
