App error message Requested resource could not be found

Hi team,
We are receiving the Requested resource could not be found error message when attempting to checkin registrants. We are using Event Espresso version 4.9.55.p and WP 4.9.2. I have tried resetting the permalinks as per another post on the same topic.
The problem now is that we have no idea how to code or how to follow any further steps to solve the problem. Not tech savvy at all! Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,

Which version of the App are you using?

When checking in a registrant, are you scanning a barcode and using that to check them in or manually, if scanning a barcode which mode are you using?

Can you post the full steps to reproduce this, please?

Hi Tony and Josh,
The app version I have is 2.6.3
To check in registrants I am choosing manual check in.
What is happening step by step:
Sometimes when I log in the request times out. Then once I get the list of events up…
I select the event
I select attendees
This takes a a little while to load. The list then comes up. I then tap the first registrant (or any registrant) and the Error Message pops up.

Hi there,

We received the temporary log in information you sent, but I’m afraid the information is incorrect. When I tried to log into the WP dashboard of your site once, it responded with:

ERROR: Incorrect username or password.
ERROR: Too many failed login attempts. Please try again in 1 minute.

Can you resend the secure form on this page and please be sure to input the correct information?

Hi Vicci,

Thanks for resending. May I ask is there a specific event you’re having trouble with the checkins? The reason I ask is because I logged in with the app, tried a few different events and did some checkins (then later deleted the checkins) and I didn’t see any errors.

Every event I try has the same error message. I tried deleting and then reinstalling the app. Thanks for trying Josh!

Hi again,
We are still having the same problem and are unable to check anyone in without receiving the error message. Is there anything else we can do to fix it?

Can you resend valid credentials so I can try logging in and see if I get the error?
