Hi
I’ve just spoke with our hosting and apache_get_modules, is disabled for security reasons, also php is running as cgi for security on their shared hosting as well. Mod_security, is also enabled. With the info just mentioned would you think I’ll be ok in using your plug in?

Hi,

I can’t see either of those causing an issue, though I would advise you to install Event espresso Lite and the Requirements check plugin and test those out.

Event Espresso Lite uses the same core code as the premium plugin, so if it works then the premium one will.

The Requirements plugin may not provide all the information you need (it uses apache_get_modules) but it should give you a general indication.

Hi
Thanks Dean for the info. The requirements plug in worked fine and the reason I asked our host is because what I mentioned above were the things that the plug in said we didn’t have. I’l install the lite version and see how that works. Thanks
