Hello, For a while now we have been having a hard time registering people for out classes. some people can register and some people can not. In an earlier forum post we where advised to delete out cashè and to also change our settings so it does not keep the cashe stored or w/e. We think we did this and it did not work. Recently someone trying to register said she got the inability to register after typing in the Antispam part, it said there was a security error. How can i fix this, this is hurting our registration.

Hi Suchitra,

Someone from support staff can work on the support token and investigate things on your website, if you can send us log in credentials and FTP credentials for your website. We do not need the credentials that you use to log in here at eventespresso.com.

Can you re-send the redeem a support token form and this time send us the credentials for your website? Thanks!

It looks like the /registration/ page wasn’t added to the do not cache list. I can fix that right now.

we have multiple registration pages for different events. do they all need to be added? how do i do that in the future.

Also, so is there nothing wrong with the anti spam thing?

The main registration page that has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it is the page I added to the do not cache list.

If you add new pages that have a registration page shortcode on it, you’ll need to either add its page slug to the do not cache list, or on the new page paste in your DO NOT CACHE PAGE secret key found on the WP Super Cache Settings > Advanced Settings page.

The security error that was reported by one of your users was not from the anti-spam field, it’s from a cached nonce field. The page caching wasn’t allow the nonce fields to update, so anyone trying to fill out a registration form where there was a nonce field mismatch would see the security error.

You do not need to add an event to the do not cache area if all you’re doing is creating a new event.

You only will need to add an event page to the do not cache area if you take an additional step of creating a new WordPress page and include event registration form shortcode within the contents of that page. I checked your site and did not see any pages that have registration forms other than the main registration page, so you should be all set.

In the future, if you do add a registration form shortcode to a page, you can copy the DO NOT Cache secret key into the page’s content.

so we should have not further problems and everyone should be able to register for classes?

Hi,

You shouldn’t run into any issues regarding caching as the main registration page was added to the no-cache list.
