Behold! The Promotions add-on for Event Espresso 4 is now available!
After many months of working with your feedback, testing, and other changes that we’ve been working on, it’s finally ready for its official release. The initial release includes these features:
- New interface for inputting and managing promocodes
- Promo code discounts now apply to the event instead of per ticket
- Promo code generator
- Automatic (non-promo-code) discounts
- Discounts limited by quantity
- Discounts limited by start date and end date
- A widget for displaying non-promo-code discounts
- A shortcode for displaying non-promo-code discounts
- Promo codes can be set to be exclusive or combined
- Registrations and Transaction entries include promotions as line items
- Registrations CSV reports include a column that displays the promo code used
Important: The Event Espresso 4 promotions add-on will activate only if Event Espresso 4.8 or greater is active. This means you’ll need to install or update to Event Espresso 4.8 or greater before you install the new promotions add-on.
