Allowing participants to change (transfer) their registrations details

Hello

This function currently does not send an email to the new email address, nor does it send an email to the event creator to let them know changes have occured.

Is there a setting I am not seeing?

I have searched for topics with this subject and found no solution.

Hi Andrew,

In Event Espresso 3, an attendee can change their registration information but it won’t automatically send an email out letting you know about this change.

You can however go to the Attendee reports screen for a specific event and click on the resend registration details icon. It looks like an email icon:

This will send out an email to the attendee/registrant with the updated information.

Hey Lorenzo.

Thanks for the fast reply.

It also is not sending the new email confirmation or ticketing information which is of most concern.

It means that while you CAN allow registrants to change details, it fail to notify the new registrant which is critical.

Hi Andrew,

Could you install this email audit plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/

Then try re-sending a registration email?

Then check the email log to see if anything is recorded.

Also, could you confirm that regular WP notifications such as password resets are working?
