After Captcha, registration goes to Error 404 Page not found

First, I’m a brand new user.
Second, there is an issue in the registration process for my webinar. If you’re going through the process for the first time, you get an error 404 page not found after entering the Captcha information.
I don’t get that when I “register” because I’ve already done the Captcha step before whatever got screwed up got screwed up.
Since trying to fix this myself, I’m certain I’ve made things worse.
I think the problem has to do with what I’m calling the registration page and where the system tries to take a person after passing the Captcha step. Further, for reasons I don’t remember, I had to pages that had at one point been the registration page. One was called “Event Registration” and is now called “Old Registration.”
Help!

Er, I should say, tried to look into this. Did you get the message from support about the username not being valid?

I’m not aware of any problem with the username and it is what shows on the screen when I go into my profile on your site, assuming we’re both talking about *moderated* which is what I show as my username and my nickname.

BTW, I think the original issue (as opposed to me messing it up more when I tried to fix it) came from me not knowing that recurring events don’t really work and then not fully understand the aspects of the work-around. So once it wouldn’t even let me create a recurring event, I set up a single event. Then I created the other 7 I needed. Then I messed with having the “extra” seven not go to the registration, then where to have them go, then this and then that. At some point, I was able to register and make it through the Captcha and then changed something so that wouldn’t work, but I’d never notice it because I’d satisfied the Captcha step.

Does this help?

Hi Jim,

We still need a valid username and password in order to take a look.

With regards to the recurring events manager not working, have you had a look at its documentation:

I’ve used the username/password I’ve shared with you successfully with Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Internet Explorer. You say they don’t work for you.

I assume you’re trying to log into my…oops.

I’ve given you my information for Event Espresso, not my website.

Oops.

I think you want me to send that via an e-mail so I will do so.

Did you get my e-mail with the real login stuff? Did it work?
