We have had EE3 for several years and not had these problems. We recently tried a different but now are going back to EE3. In our new website, we have been comparing all settings to old website to make sure we didn’t miss anything. However, these are urgent problems we are running into after reintegrating EE3:

Problem #1: When registering customers from the front end and/or back end on event espresso calendar, the admin email doesn’t show all forms filled or record in attendee information (even in attendee export). If we click on attendee, it doesn’t show their information on the backend. The admin email received only shows email, name, and date/time of event. We need all the form fields to show.

Problem #2: When adding attendees on the backend, they are receiving emails. We only want them to receive a confirmation if signed up from the front end. Also, if a registration is unfinished from backend, it doesn’t show in front end cart, but is ending up on registration confirmation email for next person registered. For example: I add Susie on the backend, but it doesn’t go through because of not enough room in class or etc. The next day I add Genie from the front end and the only thing that shows in my cart is Genie’s class. Registration is completed and then email shows both Susie & Genie’s registrations.

Hi there,

We recently tried a different but now are going back to EE3.

Is something missing above, you tried a different?

Problem #1: When registering customers from the front end and/or back end on event espresso calendar, the admin email doesn’t show all forms filled or record in attendee information (even in attendee export). If we click on attendee, it doesn’t show their information on the backend. The admin email received only shows email, name, and date/time of event. We need all the form fields to show.

So EE is displaying your custom questions on the registration form, but then those are not included in the email AND they don’t display when you edit the attendee?

Can you link me to an event so I can view this?

Problem #2: When adding attendees on the backend, they are receiving emails. We only want them to receive a confirmation if signed up from the front end.

As far as I am aware, EE3 has always sent emails when adding registrations in the admin as it includes a link to pay.

We don’t currently have the option to prevent those emails in EE3 but we do in EE4.

Is there something preventing you from upgrading to EE4?

Also, if a registration is unfinished from backend, it doesn’t show in front end cart, but is ending up on registration confirmation email for next person registered. For example: I add Susie on the backend, but it doesn’t go through because of not enough room in class or etc. The next day I add Genie from the front end and the only thing that shows in my cart is Genie’s class. Registration is completed and then email shows both Susie & Genie’s registrations.

I can’t reproduce this, can you post the full steps to reproduce please?

I tried, Event Espresso -> Events -> Attendees. Add new.
(The event had no spaces so when I clicked submit I saw an error)

Then on the front end I added a ticket to the cart for another event, registered and paid, I only has the latest registration in the emails.
