Hi,

First up, great product.

Secondly, I need some help on Adding Multiple Email addresses for Booking confirmation.

I have looked at a similar post and it was mentioned to “put comma separated multiple email addresses in the organization contact field, it will send the admin email out to everybody in the list.”

I am attempting to place multiple addresses in “Primary Contact Email” in the “Your Organization” tab. But whenever I save it strips out the comma.

Am i doing this is the right place? And if so, how can I sort this out.

Thanks in advance.

Tim

Hi Tim,

Can I ask where you see that please? I don’t think it’s the right place to add multiple emails within that section.

However you can do it within the messages themselves, go to:

Event Espresso -> Messages.

You’ll find a list of message types, each may multiple contexts so make sure your editing the correct context.

For any message that you want to send to multiple users click to edit that message and add the comma separate list within the To field.

For example I’ll edit the Registration Approved message type, using the Event Admin context – http://take.ms/O2d47

That’s the message sent when a attendee has paid (or finalized the registration if it’s a free ticket)

Within the editor I can do this – http://take.ms/eL9IG

Then save the message, note you’ll need to do this for each message type you want multiple emails to go to.

Another option is to setup a group email address, say events@example.com and then assign each of the email address you want to receive the email to that group. Then you can set that events@example.com as the primary contact email and your mailsever does all of the work for you.
