EE3 has the [add_to_calendar] shortcode available within the emails, but the exact location you need to add it to depends on your setup.
Are you using the latest version of EE3?
Do you use the mail manager within that or the default message within general settings?
What does it take to upgrade to Version 4? If I wanted to upgrade that is.
EE4 has a migration script built into it so switching is basically a case of installing EE4, deactivating ee3 and its add-ons and activating EE4… then following the on-screen steps to migrate your data over.
However, EE4 works very differently from EE3 so we recommend doing the above on a development copy of the site first to make sure it functions well with your theme and other plugins.
