Hello,

I would like the ability to either add additional tickets at a later date as admin or even the ability that purchaser can buy additional tickets at a later date, both without creating a new registration.

Is this possible?

The main issue why I need this kind of functionality is: Let’s say I have one required ticket and a few additional not required tickets in my event. If someone who already bought the required ticket wants to purchase an additional, not required ticket at a later date, at the moment they cannot do this, even if they created a new registration, because they would have to pay again for the required ticket. Does this make sense?

Hi Mike,

Currently, we don’t have this functionality within EE. Once a registration has been finalized within EE you can not add additional tickets to that group (including if the ‘group’ was just a single ticket to begin with).

As it stands to add additional registrations/tickets you would need to recreate the registration selecting the correct number of tickets and basically re-registering the user, then cancel the original registration(s).

You can do the above within the admin which will allow you to finalize without payment and then re-apply the payment to the new registration. Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations, at the top click ‘Add new registration’.

Hi Tony, thanks so much for your response and the suggestion. I think I will do the following workaround: Temporarily disable the required ticket and then register them via the admin as you suggested.
