Add fee depending on selected payment method (stripe)

Hi, we’re using EE4 with stripe plugin, and we want to add a fixed fee for customers paying with stripe. I saw other posts (from 2014) where its stated that this option will be released as a plugin in this year…

Is there a way we can handle this? or should we wait until the plugin is released?
