Add Datetime and Create Ticket buttons not working

Trying to create an event, or edit an existing event, the “add datetime” and “create ticket” buttons aren’t working. They refresh the page, but do not add additional field rows to the event. Per this post (https://eventespresso.com/topic/unable-to-add-datetime/) it could be a js issue. I deactivated all other plugins and switched to a default theme, but the error persisted.

Please advise how to fix.

WordPress Version: 4.9.5
PHP Version: 7.0.10
MySQL Version: 5.7.14
Event Espresso Version: 4.9.61.p

This may be related to the other topic you just posted where not all of Event Espresso’s code is being loaded. Can you check that that page in the browser console to see if there are any JavaScript errors?

No console errors are showing up on my end.

I mentioned earlier that this may be related to the other topic you just posted where not all of Event Espresso’s code is being loaded. So the way forward will be to ensure that all the files can be loaded by PHP. If fixing the other issue doesn’t resolve this we can investigate further.

I updated the other ticket. EE4 has compatibility issues with PHP 7+.

EE4 doesn’t actually have compatibility issues with PHP 7+.
