I have an event that has been created & published, and when I go to edit and click the “Add Datetime” button, the Edit Event page reloads with an “Event Updated” message at the top. Do you have any idea why this is happening? I need to be able to add more datetimes and tickets to this event. Thanks!

Usually that’s a JavaScript error on the page or a setting on the server that can cause this. Does the Add Datetime button work if you deactivate all other WordPress plugins and temporarily switch to another WordPress theme?

Yes, it seems to have been a JS error related to another plugin. Thanks for the tip!

May I ask what the name of the other plugin is? At the very least we can add a note to the Known conflicts with 3rd party plugins page.

It’s this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/constant-contact-api/
We’ve had it installed for a while with no issues, so not sure what changed.

Looks like what happens with that Constant Contact plugin activated is you can create an event and add date times with no trouble, but when you’re on the screen to edit an existing event, the Constant Contact plugin throws a JavaScript error and everything else on the page breaks.

Here’s a link to a plugin page for an alternative that doesn’t break functionality within Event Espresso admin screens:
