I apparently didn’t read, and made assumptions that you’d be selling EE4 by default. πŸ™ I need an EE4 license, but purchased EE3 by mistake. Can you exchange it for EE4? Or issue a refund and I can re-purchase the correct version?

I’m really sorry to be asking for this. I haven’t downloaded EE3 yet, so I hope that helps.

Hi Lin,

We can work with you on this. Before we make any changes to your account, we should make sure that you’re up to speed on what’s available in Event Espresso 4.

Since you’ve purchased the business license package, I can discern that you may be intending to use Event Espresso’s add-ons. Is that the case? If so, you may need to use Event Espresso 3 in the interim because most of the add-ons that are available for Event Espresso 3 are not available. Once more add-ons are released for Event Espresso 4 you’ll be able to migrate to Event Espresso 4 from Event Espresso 3.

Here’s how you can find out which add-ons you want to use work with Event Espresso 3 or 4: If you go to your account page you’ll see all of your available downloads at the top of the page. You’ll see that you already have access to Event Espresso 4 because we are including Event Espresso 4 with the Event Espresso 3 support license. The plugins that are highlighted in blue are for Event Espresso 4, and the green highlighted plugins only work with Event Espresso 3.

After reviewing what’s available for Event Espresso 4 you decide that you’d like to switch to the Event Espresso 4 only license please contact the sales team via their *Sales/Billing Question* contact form on this page and someone will assist you.

Thanks Josh.

Yea, I think I was getting confused about which features go with which version of EE. I thought that I was looking at things included with EE4, but was actually looking at the EE3 page. So we’ll continue with EE3 and upgrade to EE4 when the time comes.
