6 Week Class, Meets Weekly

We are having an issue administering a 6 week long class that meets once per week. We may have set it up incorrectly from the beginning. We set it up as a recurring event with an end date. The classes appear on the calendar as expected. We have found users that a few users signed up for one of the middle classes. This presents an issue when we select our first class to view the Attendee report. We’re looking for a way to better group these classes/registrations together.

Hi Casey,

So you have classes, that are open for individual registration, where you don’t want them to be registered for? In that case, you set those classes to not display a registration form, and you can set the Alternative Registration URL to point to the class registration that you want them to register for.

Thank you for your reply. I didn’t see that field, and it will be a big help. Is there a quick way to point the 5 events (those after the first week’s class) to the first event of the series?

Yeah the quick way is make the changes to the 2nd class in the series, and select the “This and all upcoming events.” option that’s in the pink box before you hit save.
