Hi ,
For my events I want the user to only be allowed to register once for the event, at the moment the same person. Can register as many times as they want for the same event. How would I go about this as this is core to my business

Currently it is not possible to limit someone from registering for an event multiple times.

Hi,
This is something i really need surely there is some sort of check that can be done on email or something. My events are member only so they have to be a member of my site to register. The problem is that once a member they can register multiple times for the same event. Surely this is something you guys can tell me how to do.
I can’t pay extra for this, i was sure something like this would have being included in the core functionality

Hi Gary,
This was something we never included in Event Espresso, as our belief was that the vast majority of people would not mind users registering multiple times (and no doubt paying multiple times).
It is something that we may consider in the future for EE4, but as it stands now it would not be included for EE3.
As mentioned it could be customised, but general support wouldn’t cover it as it would be an in depth customisation.
We could take it on (if developer resources allow) but we would charge our developer rates for the customisation.
However, I did create something a little while ago that is similar to your needs, but not exact.

Now, these wont do exactly what you’re after but could be built upon to reach that goal.
