We are having the exact same issue as this site: https://eventespresso.com/topic/issue-you-do-not-have-access-to-this-route/ I found other posts as well, but all were solved off the forum. I can provide access to our development site if you can fix. I can say one thing, we did mess up and put the support license key in on the dev site. That could have caused the corruption. Sounds like we need help restoring the maintenance page. |
Hi Donald, It turns out the support license key will not cause any corruption on your site. The key only affects the 1-click updates. Can you try going to this URL while logged in as admin on your site: yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset You’ll change yoursite.com to your site’s URL and that should open a page where you can click a button to reset the capabilities. |

I get a 404 error. Weird, I didn’t get an email update when you replied. I’ve done a premium support ticket if we need it. If it can be solved in the next few hours without it great, we’ll use elsewhere. Just as an FYI, I read all the posts I could find on this and did this and other things you suggested. Like the other posts, I think we’ll be best of expediting this and letting me get you access. once we get this restored, we still have to configure everything for launch on Monday. Thanks! |
Hi Donald, You can redeem the support token by going to your account page, and then you click on the link where it says: “To redeem your token(s) please complete this form” Please be sure to fill out the form completely and accurately. |

Also, what can I do to make sure these emails come to me when you reply I have checked the box and get nothing. |
You may need to configure your email client/service to allow emails from email addresses that have the domain eventespresso.com. |

Yeah, that doesn’t make sense as I get all of the others, no worries, I’ll refresh, rather have you focused on the issue at hand. Thanks! |
Hi Donald, Was any code added to the site to remove specific items for Event Espresso from the side WP admin menu? Along with that, can you please double check and resend the FTP credentials? The credentials you sent do not give us access. |
|
Okay I got the capabilities reset by going to yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings and everything is loading up now. Re:
The errors should go away by either removing the calendar shortcode, or by installing the calendar add-on. |

No code changes. In my experience and in all the other posts on this matter it’s consistent to have the items leave the left hand sidebar when you get the access route error. Please make sure you are using SFTP. I just tested and it worked fine. Screenshot of my FileZilla settings |

will try and report back. |

I went to that URL and got a 404 page, makes no sense. |
Do you get 404’s for the other EE pages in the admin? Can you see the Event Espresso menu now? Here’s what it looks like from my end: |
