Its been over a year since anyone has updated as to whether or not you will be fixing the support license issue with WPMS. If updating the field to stay active is not possible is there a way to permanently enter the support ID in the plugin editor? It is very annoying that this is the only set of software I have to update via FTP and for $300 a year, you should have fixed this by now.

Currently running Event Espresso 4.9.49.p on WP 4.9.4

Hi there,

I’m sorry for the confusion. This has actually been fixed and the fix was released in April 2016:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/2016-changelog-archive/#4.9.8

You can go to the main site on the multisite network and set the license key there, and then run the update on the network’s plugin page.

Is there a way to fix it if I’m only using the events system on one sub-site. We don’t have it network activated.

You actually don’t need to network activate the plugin. You only need to activate Event Espresso on the main site. The main site on the network is the only site where the license key field gets set.
