WorldPay gateway fails to return to Thank You page after payment

Hi,

Customers paying via WorldPay are completeing payments but their payment status in Event Espresso remains ‘Incomplete’. WorldPay did not return to ‘thank you’ page after transaction was completed.

This has only started happening since latest EE3 update was installed earlier this week.

Have checked all settings in WorldPay Account and EE Payment Settings and all looks correct still.

Have also tried force HTTPS on Return URL and no luck?

Any ideas please?

Hi there,

We haven’t changed how WorldPay (or pretty much any EE3 payment method works) in a very long time now.

The last update we released for EE3 was version 3.1.37.18 on December 5th 2020 so may I ask which version you’ve just updated from?

Can you check your WorldPay account and make sure that the Payment response is enabled? There is a step by step guide on how to enable the Payment response in our documentation here:

With WorldPay all we do is pass over the details to them, when you click the link and go to WorldPay’s servers to pay it’s all up to them what happens from there. I can see on your site that all of the values we ‘should’ send over to WorldPay are still valid and show up on the page.
