I’ve got my Stripe keys entered and I’m trying to test transactions. When I hit “Submit” after entering in the test credit card information, I get “Error establishing a database connection” at this URL https://somilehigh.com/?page_id=317&r_id=1-52d5050b16078. I do not have SSL yet. What could be the issue?

I’m running the newest version of WordPress and EE.

I’d also like to add that EE does recognize that the test purchases are attendees of the event in the Event Overview screen, so something isn’t going to Stripe. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

It’s the HTTPS and lack of an SSL certificate.

I havent seen it return a database error before, but if you go to https://somilehigh.com/ you get the same error.

I would advise either stopping the HTTPS or installing an SSL.
