I have followed this guide, and changed wording terms.
I’ve uploaded to wp-content > uploads > espresso > languages as instructed but see no difference?
I didn’t alter the code on the wp-config file as already set to en_GB, does it make a difference if en_GB or en_gb? The wp-config file mentioned putting language folders into wp-content > languages … is that worth a try?
Had an issue prev with EE3 but now migrated to EE4.

/wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages/ is the correct directory.

Yes the GB makes a difference. WPLANG within wp-config.php is actually no longer needed. WordPress allows you to set the Site Language within Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Site Language.
That option sets WPLANG internally.

No that’s for WordPress translation files, not EE.
What is the full filename of the file you are uploading?
