We’re due to go live later this week. The client has added all the event data/ticket data/payment information to the site so we want to keep this as it is, but we’d like to remove all the test payments/registrations we’ve made so they can start a fresh without any legacy from the development period.
That’s going to be tricky because some of the registration data (the part that keeps track of Contacts) gets recorded to the _posts table. So instead of going in and wiping whole tables, you’ll need to ensure that the contact records are deleted from there, but no other posts. Other tables that contain registration data include _esp_line_item, _esp_transaction, _esp_registration, _esp_registration_payment, _esp_answer, _esp_attendee_meta, _esp_checkin, _esp_line_item, _esp_message, _esp_payment, and _esp_promotion_object (if using the promotions add-on).
Please be sure to make a backup of the database before you go into there and start emptying tables.
That’s great, thank you! I will be clearing them out and hopefully getting the site live today.
Big thanks to you and the team for all the support help you’ve given me over the past few months.
Thanks, Harry.
