I’ve purchased, installed and configured the Social Coupons/Groupon addon. But when I go to my event and add it to the cart, there’s no place to enter the Groupon code. What am I missing?

Hi,

If you go to Event Espresso > General Settings, then under the heading Optional Event Settings: Is “Allow voucher codes in the shopping cart?” set to Yes or No? If it’s set to No then you’ll change the setting to Yes, then click Save Options.

Then, you’ll also need to activate Groupon codes for the event, which is step 4 in this guide:

Please note that if the event allows for multiple tickets for an event, a Groupon code will discount all tickets for the event for that order. So if Groupon codes are accepted for group orders, you’ll want to set your “Max Group registrants” setting for the event accordingly. Or set Max Group Registrants to 1 if one code is good for one ticket.
