Hi,
I’ve been following the instructions to translate Event Espresso to Spanish. I added the .po and .mo files to the languages folder and been doing some extra translation in the .po file. However a lot of words are still being displayed in English
http://szeventos.com/eventos/evento-de-belly-dancing/
For example

Available Tickets (each) Qty*
Free Ticket show details +

Where do I change these? if they are not in the .po file?

Thanks

Hi Angelica,

I took a look at your site and I see that you are running Event Espresso 4. There are still some content that needs to be translated.

Are you using the EE4 language file?

Hi Lorenzo,
Thanks for your quick reply!
I downloaded the language files from Github
https://github.com/eventespresso/languages-ee4/blob/master/event_espresso-es_ES.po
Does that make a difference?
II could translate the content that still needs to be translated, however many of the sentences in english are not in the language file. So my question is, where do I translate them? are they in some other file?

Hi,

Those files are due to be updated as they are for the older EE3.2 (the initial version of EE4), so some/a lot of the strings wont be in there yet.

Glotpress is more up to date though most likely still incomplete, you can Export a PO file from the bottom left of the screen https://eventespresso.com/glotpress/projects/event-espresso-4/es/event-espresso-es_ES

Hello again Angelica,

We have a new resource that explains how to translate Event Espresso. You can view it here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-translate-event-espresso/

Also, GlotPress now has translation strings that are up to date for the current Event Espresso 4.8.x platform.
