We are unable to edit ticket information after we save it.

We can create events and add tickets but are unable to edit them once they are saved. The settings “gear” button doesn’t work and doesn’t click. I have fully updated software and have disabled all plugins, but have had no luck.

Hi there,

It sounds like something is loading some JavaScript on our event editor when it shouldn’t be and is throwing an error, which then prevents any other JavsScript from running.

If you open up Chrome Dev Tools (or similar) on the event editor and look in the ‘Console’, do you see any errors there?

I don’t actually need the errors as the above doesn’t actually help point to where the error is from so I’ve shortened the reply.

The fact that your getting JavaScript errors, will prevent you from editing the ticket options and you’ve mentioned you de-activated all plugins, did you try to edit the tickets with all plugins disabled?

If so and it still didn’t work, the errors are likely from the theme.

One way to test is to use the Health Check plugin, enable Troublehsotting mode (Dashboard -> Health Check -> Troublehsotting -> Enable Troubleshotting mode)

Then on the dashboard enable Event Espresso again – https://monosnap.com/file/N0u6Pa4ULhKTmbtQj1Qh0p1HzXU9Ao

Try editing the ticket again now, does it work?
