We need to collect address for people on the waitlist. I understand from this post that waitlist only collects name and email and the event.

If we can’t collect additional information can we force the person to authenticate before being placed on the waitlist. This way we can at least have their address as part of their profile.

Hi there,
Things have changed a little since the above post and it actually is now possible to hook in and add additional fields to waitlist checkout if they are fields you would associate with the contact (such as Phone, Address, Name etc).
Here is an example of adding a phone field:

If you are comfortable with PHP you could add additional fields to the above, if not you may need the help of a developer or we could like add this using a support token.
If we can’t collect additional information can we force the person to authenticate before being placed on the waitlist. This way we can at least have their address as part of their profile.
You can force users to login before they can register onto an event but this would apply to all registrations not just waitlist registrations.
You do that using the WP user integration add-on.
