After users checkout the view receipt does not work.
It also does not work when we are in the dashboard under View registrants transaction: Both view receipt and view invoice when clicked revert to our home page of the website instead.
If the receipt URL gets redirected to the home page that’s an indication that there’s a security mechanism on the site that’s not allowing the receipt URL.
Do you have any security plugins activated or do you know if your host uses mod_security?
Something else worth checking is that those message types have not been disabled.
Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings -> HTML.
Make sure the Receipt and Invoice message types are NOT in the inactivate section on the right, if they are, drag them back over to the active section.
If they are already in the active section, I would recommend dragging them over to be inactive, wait a few seconds and drag them back. (We’ve seen very rare cases where somehow the display for message type wasn’t in sync with the message type itself, so it showed as active whilst it was actually inactive, the above just confirms that it isn’t the case).
