Venue Name not Showing on Event List

As the topic suggests, the Venue name is not showing on the Event list, but their is a blank space present. It does show perfectly in the event detail and registration page.

Hi Aaron,

How are you adding the venue information – via the venue shortcode in the event or a modified template?

Do you have an example link?

I am using the default code, short code is in use.

Hi Aaron,

In the Template Settings is an option to turn on the address in the event listings (“Display addresses in the event listings?”), make sure that is turned on.

Thanks Dean. That option was set to ‘Yes’. Just to clarify, the address is showing just the Venue Name is missing. It shows on the registration correctly but is missing in the event list.

OK, just needed to clarify that. I cant recreate it locally, but I see that it is missing on the site.

Were the template files modified in anyway?

No problem on the clarification. The fileevent_list.php is in the original format. The file event_list_display.php was only modification was to comment out available spots. For giggles, it restored the file to original with no change in behavior. Do, in shirt, yes the files in question are in original coding.

Anywhere else, you might suggest I look?

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

Hi,

Thanks for the login details.

I activated the Venue Manager inthe General Settings and made sure the “show address in events listing” was set to Yes in the Template settings.

Then in each event I added the venue (whihc had previously been set) and updated the event. The listsing now shows the address and so does the event registration page.

If you need to add/change addresses, head over to the Venue Manager and add/change there and make sure you update the venue in the appropriate event as well.
