Hi There

We’re having issues with our site evolvefestival.co.nz on cloudways. I’ve had to disable the varnish cache entirely.

I’d put in exclusions for the default pages but the /registration-checkout/ page has a query string after it that was getting cached and served to customers if varnish was on. This is obviously no good as it’s potentially showing the wrongn ticket or a ticket to a different event even…

I tried this regex in the varnish exclusions
\/registration-checkout\/\?uts=.*\#checkout

This seems to match the relative urls when I check it using http://regexr.com/ but it wasn’t excluding it from the cache on cloudways.

Without the varnish cache on the site is consuming a lot more resources on the server.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

I can suggest following your hosting companies documentation for excluding URLs:

https://support.cloudways.com/how-to-exclude-url-from-varnish/

If you need further help with configuring the server’s varnish caching, you can contact your host for support.
