I have written a plugin that sends out emails to attendees. I would like to utilise the EE Message System for generating, queueing and sending those emails, because I would like to see them in the message queue as well as using templates, just like any other EE4 email, e.g. registration approved.

I have found classes like EE_Messages_Generator, EE_Messages_Processor etc.
Is there any documentation on how to use the EE Message System properly in the right way?

Hi Aragato,

All of our developer based docs can be found here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/tree/master/docs/

The messages system docs can be found here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/tree/master/docs/E–Messages-System

Just to note as its not clear if you want to use just the queue or the full system but you can’t just hook in and use the queue. You’ll need your own message type, template pack, variation etc meaning you basically use the entire system for the message.
