Using Paypal as payment method

Hi there,
I have recently purchased Event Espresso for my website to allow people to register and pay for a conference. I have just done a test registration to see if it worked and as I came to the payment method Paypal was not an option. In the payment settings I have added all the paypal information. Just wanting some help to see why it is not coming up?
I also tried to pay using a credit card and it continued to show up as declined.

Hi Daniel,

Are you using EE3 or EE4?

Have you activated PayPal in the Payment Settings area?
