Using 2 PayPal Pro accounts in EE4

Hello, this is Jenny –
I’m trying to help a client decide if she should move to PayPal Pro. She currently has two standard PayPal accounts, one in CA and one in the US. She needs to keep this setup but it’s unclear whether you can have event-specific paypal accounts using PP Pro. Any advice?

Hi Jenny,

I’m assuming you are familiar with the PCI requirements you’ll need to follow when switching to PayPal Pro? (I’m only asking as the client is currently using PayPal Standard which is a payment method that has the least PCI requirements, PayPal Pro has one of the most strict so it’s a pretty big jump)

Also, will you be using EE3 or EE4?

Yes, that’s a huge consideration here.

We’re using EE4.

As you are using EE4 you can use the payment methods pro addon:

https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-payment-methods-pro/

That add on allows you to create multiple versions of a payment method and select which one to use on the event.
