User cannot select ticket on multiple date

hi I have an event with multiple dates and tickets.

My tickets are Birmingham Tickets & Manchester Tickets with different dates.

I can select the (Birmingham or Manchetser) ticket and it displays the dates available for each tickets (The dates are different).. great

problem is even though I can select the ticket, how can I select the date I want for that ticket when I click register now it does not give me any option.

What I though would happen is i would choose the ticket (Birmingham Ticket) Then select the date I wish to attend then register and pay… but there is no way for me to select the date

am I missing something

BTW I am using the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”Beginners”] in an existing post

Multiple datetimes on a single event are for a single event with non-consecutive dates, like a class that runs once a week for several weeks. But since you are registering for one event, it is implied that you are signing up for all the dates involved. If you want separate registration for each of the dates, then they should each be their own event.

Ok I bought this plugin for the multiple date on the basis that my user could select any date available for a specific event and book for that date. This plugin is no good to me. Is it a good plugin but that very feature renders this useless to me is this feature in EE3?

Hi Junior,

With EE4 you will want to configure a ticket to either one datetime or multiple datetimes, see https://eventespresso.com/features/multiple-dates-times-per-event/

You can let people pick the dates by naming the ticket a certain name with the date or letting them look at the ticket details to review the dates. But if you need to have them pick a date they need to do it by selecting a particular ticket with that datetime(s) selected in the ticket settings.
