Hello – I need to be able to request payment by credits provided by a partner company. This would need to be an open field that – when completed – would provide pending registration until we go back and accept. Two questions:
1) Is this possible? I thought I could do that with INVOICE – renaming it appropriately.
2) How can I make TWO payment options available? Open field for learning credits and paypal pro?

Hi there,
By open field do you mean a field that allows the user to enter a payment amount?
1) Is this possible? I thought I could do that with INVOICE – renaming it appropriately.
You can rename the Invoice payment method and use it to finalise the registration but you can not take a value from the user when doing so without custom development.
2) How can I make TWO payment options available? Open field for learning credits and paypal pro?
You can enable both the Invoice and PayPal Pro within Event Espresso -> Payment methods to have both payment methods available on your events.

Okay – I’m working through it. I have them both activated but they are not appearing but I think that has something to do with the messaging needed to be activated. I’ve been working on that (activating HTML and PDF messages) but for some reason still not appearing.
Other question – I want to have a custom Button URL for the renamed Invoice to match what I’ve renamed it. Is this available with a support token? Any help would be fantastic! Thank you!!

So you have the Invoice messagener active within Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings -> HTML?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Invoice is that payment method active? (If it shows settings when you click on invoice its active)
Look in the Invoice settings and check that within the settings the ‘Usable From?’ option has the ‘Front-end Registration Page’ checkbox checked.
Other question – I want to have a custom Button URL for the renamed Invoice to match what I’ve renamed it.
Whilst we can set an image for you, you easy set the image yourself.
It’s the same section above and you set the image within ‘Button URL’.
Or am I misunderstanding what you are asking above?
