We have a campaign running and I am unable to change the event status from “Sold Out” to “Available.”
Some things to note:
– The Event is NOT sold out (# of registrations is less than tickets available)
– Event “tickets on sale” times are between 4/04/2017 and 4/24/17 (still valid today)
– No matter how many times I “Publish” the event again, the status still does not change.
Please help as have a campaign running right now and this is causing problems!
After you’ve updated you may need to the Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset page and click on the Reset Ticket and Datetime Reserved Counts button. After the reserved counts are reset, you can go to edit the event and click on Publish.
Hi. I have updated to 4.9.37.p and it has not fixed the issue.
When I navigated to the event, it still said “Sold Out” in the back-end. So, I tried to update the status to “Pending Review” and then clicked “Publish” and it still didn’t update back to the available again.
Quantity available for the tickets is still greater than what was sold.
I think your last fix with the “Reset Ticket and Datetime Reserved Counts” button fixed it! I had to go back and Publish the event again, but it seems to be working! Thank you so much!
The combination of getting the lastest update, then using the reset button fixes the issue. Partly because the prior versions of Event Espresso didn’t have a reset reserved count button.
