Upgrading Problems from EE 3.1.24.1P

Sometime over the weekend our payment gateway (Authorize.net AIM) started giving errors and would not process payments generated from EE 3.1.24.1P. We just updated all our plugins and purchased the latest version of EE and installed it. Now we are having problems with the process pages before getting to the purchase page. If you go to the site and click “Register Now” at the top banner, you’ll see a listing of courses. Click one of the top course and follow the registration procedure. The confirmation page fails to pull the Price for the ticket(s) and the Confirmation button fails to work. Need help ASAP!

Is a link available to your site so we can take a look to get more information?

Have you made any customizations to any of the template files for Event Espresso?

Version 3.1.24.1 is a couple years old so your edits may not work out of the box with the current software: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-log/#3.1.24.1

If you have made customizations, try temporarily renaming this folder using an SFTP or FTP client to see if things start to work normally:

wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates

Change templates to templates1

Hi Scot,

I FTP’ed in with the credentials that you sent and moved all of the out of date templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/old-templates so that they can no longer load. I’ll check further to see if anything else wasn’t upgraded properly.

Hi Scot,

The reg process looks like it’s working fine now.
The aim files copied over to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways were also not compatible with the current AIM payment gateway, so those have been disabled. It looks like you have debug mode turned on right now, once you switch back to live mode the payments should all process as expected.
