Hello-
I am using a hosted WordPress instance at Network Solutions. I performed an upgrade to WordPress 5.x and the newest version of the Event Espresso plug-in. Following the upgrades, ALL Event Espresso controls are missing from my WordPress admin center. I tried re-uploading the EE plug-in without success. Please advise. Thanks.
It looks as though the upload is failing. I browse to the zip file and then click Install Now. After a couple of minutes, I am receiving “An error occurred……Faithfully yours, OpenResty.”
Thanks Josh. Definitely a server problem. I just setup a WordPress instance on a different hosting platform – Azure – and it’s working just fine with WP 5.0.1. Network Solutions hasn’t offered much in the way of help unfortunately. Will keep you posted.
Ok, when you’re on the WP > Plugins page, if it’s not letting you delete the plugin because it’s not listed, that’s an indication the files will need to be manually deleted via FTP. If you can manually delete the plugin files, it should allow you to re-upload.
