Updating Event Expresso to 3.1.35.P

I hold the business license and want to update to newest version. The current plugin does not show an automatic update. I have not modified any templates other than added a terms and condition button on the registration page. Just want to confirm that all I have to do is delete the current Event Expresso plugin (delete all data) and reinstall the newest version. Is there anything else I need to do?
I have backed up the MySQL database on the server. We currently have recurring events happening daily and do not want these events to go down.

Hi,

Backing up is wise, however you will be fine just deleting the plugin and installing the latest as your current version is 3.1.34.

If the update message doesnt appear next time there is an update please advise.
