Deactivated it and uninstalled. Went to re-install and get “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.” Please advise.

Hi Joseph,

There are a couple of ways to work around this. The first one is increase the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini. 4MB should be plenty. We’ve recently reduced the file size of the Event Espresso core plugin though, but if the filesize limit is set really low, this can happen.

Or you can manually upload the Event Espresso plugin via FTP:

This is somewhat related. I updated WordPress to 3.5.1 and I can’t get the image upload feature to work, as well as the description field not showing up properly. (essentially rendering event input as meaningless.) Any suggestions? I’ve tried reinstalling, but I inherited this site and am learning wordpress on the fly, not sure where to look.
