Hi all!
Because of Corona, we had to cancel all kids-football-classes.
Now we want to send a personalized eMail to each registrant with following options:
1. Donate the money to the football-school.
2. Use the voucher and register for another class later this year.
For pt.2, we want to send a promotional-code for a free registration for any classes (events) created with Event Espresso.
Now my question is:
What do I have to do, to get a separate Voucher/Promo-Code for each registrant?

Hi guys
Another question:
If I try to add a new Promotion Code, there comes a “fatal error”. Its not possible to do any changes on that code and I’m not able to add other new codes.
I tried several options while opening a code but nothing works….

Hi,
The problem is someone deleted (or trashed) the discount price types from your website. You’ll need to go to Event Espresso > Pricing > Price types > Trash and restore the discount price types from the trash

Yes that was me who trashed the Discounts 🙂
If I click on Papierkorb (Trash) it’s not opening the trash. No chance to reactivate the discounts.
Please look to the mask (dashboard to add discounts). There is no way to open a new Discount. I have to delete the discount to be able to add a new Discount.

Yes that was me who trashed the Discounts 🙂
Not the discount/promotion, but the price type they use.
Event Espresso -> Prices -> Price Types -> Trash

For promotions to function, they must be restored.
Try mnaully going to : {domain}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pricing&action=price_types&status=trashed

You need to follow the above and restore the ‘price types’ from the trash. The problem is not the promotion itself, it’s the price type (discount price type) it uses has been trashed.
