Unable to update Event Espresso?!?

Hi, I need help. I’m unable to automatically update Event Espresso to 4.4.5. I logged into Event Espresso to view my license key, and it says that my key is not active on any sites?

So I copied the key and entered it into my WP EE installation on EE > General Settings > Your Organization, and now I’m getting this error message:

An automatic update for Event Espresso is available but your Support License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page (EE3+ users) or Your Organization Settings page (EE4+ users) OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

Did I not get a valid support key when I purchased this software? It was purchased in the last 4 months…

Please help, as I’d like to update this software. Currently running EE 4.4.0.p on WordPress 4.0.1

Hi,

Just to make sure, did the licence key you added have _FREE at the end? If so then that is the wrong licence key.

The account you used to make this forum post is a free account, your actual licence account uses a different email address (not the church one).

On that account I have taken the liberty of resetting the licence key, but make sure the site has the correct licence key added to it.
