Unable to add recurring events to specific dates on calendar

Hello,
I am using wp3.6.1 and EE3.1.36.4.P with recurring events add on. This is our calendar page: http://www.brightspotplayplace.com/calendar-2/

I am trying to add an 8 week recurring event (which I have done several times in the past) and am having trouble with a specific week in the calendar (April 20). Events will not “stick” to this week.

Thoughts?

In adding more events, it appears to be the final week of the event I attempt to add.

Hi Dawne,

Can you post the first event and last event dates that you’re trying along with the “repeat” options that are set so we can investigate?

Hi Josh. I have several events doing this, one example is as follows:

It should run 8 consecutive Tuesdays from March 4 – April 22.

Reg Start 2014-02-11
Reg end 2014-04-30

Event date 2014-03-04

Event times 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

recurring event Y
Reg Starts on: 2014-02-11
ends on : 2014-04-30

Are all events available…. Y

First event 2014-03-04 end 2014-03-04
Last event 2014-04-22

Repeats weekly
Every 1 week
Repeats on Tues

Hi Dawne,

We’ve seen this before and have a ticket to address it (its a rather strange bug, I can reproduce on one test server, but not another)

For some users if you set the ‘Last Event date’ to the actual date of the last event, that event is not created. So in this case:

Last event 2014-04-22
http://d.pr/i/TRCy (7 events)

Set that to:

Last event 2014-04-23
http://d.pr/i/FohB (8 events)

As you can see from the screenshots REM will then create the final event.

So as a workaround for the time being, if you remember to set that last event date at least 1 day past the actual last event date, all the events should be created. REM will still only create the Tuesday event (as that’s the option ticked) regardless of how many days past you go (up until the next Tuesday obviously)

I am sorry for any confusion this may cause.

Thank you Tony. That helps. I’ll change my last event dates for now. Is there any way to be notified when a fix comes along?
