Hi, I have started translate core plugin of Event Espresso into Russian Language and have noticed some issues (bad references for some strings or missing strings) in Events section of the Back-End. Have a look at the screenshots: |
Some other cases with wrong references in the same section. |
Hi, Is that version 4.4.5 or newer? — |
That is 4.4.5.p |
Here are some new issues and comments |
I forgot to mention that I installed 4.4.6.p today. |

Hi Ivan, Please get the latest versions of the Russian language file from GlotPress. I just added some updates. I spot checked some of the issues that you mentioned like this one in Deutsch http://goo.gl/evUt1q and it should be fixed. Please also see this tutorial: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/customize-checkout-registration-button-text/ Let us know the remaining issues and we’ll take another look. — |

Currently I use self generated by POedit file due to it takes ages to use GlotPress for that. For me it will be better to make translation in regular fashion and only then move the strings to GlotPress for time saving purposes. |
Lorenzo, but why is that difficult with buttons? Wouldn’t that be easier just to add the corresponding strings to the PO? |
Hi Ivan, we’ve fixed the help tour button, the blue question mark, the month dropdowns along with some other items that you mentioned. These will be in the next maintenance release. Some of the registration checkout buttons are dynamic depending on the registration step or area of registration checkout that you are currently in. — |

Hi Lorenzo and thank you very much. I will keep you posted on other omissions I find during translation in the same forum thread. |
