Hi,
We are preparing a 3 day workshops conference where the attendees would be able to choose up to 2 workshops per day.
Our problem right now is that we do not currently have all the information for the workshops but we would like attendees to buy their tickets now and come back later to choose the workshops. Only paid tickets should be able to choose a workshop.
Is there a way to control this using a kind of unique code per user? We were thinking that the Transaction ID or the Invoice Number could be use as a code to accomplish our requirement. If so, is there also a way to automatically add this information (Transaction ID or Invoice Number) to the events DB?
There isn’t currently an option to automatically create a discount / promo code after a registration.
You could create a separate event that is password protected but is free. Then you could send the paid registrations a link to the event to register along with the password.
This could be done by using the Send Batch Message feature which could be found in Event Espresso –> Events. Then hover over the name of the event and click on Registrations. From here, you could filter by paid registrants or select specific registrants and then scroll down and click on the Send Batch Message button. A small window will appear and you can enter the information and then send the emails out.
