Hi There, <li class=”ticket-name”>Ticket Name: [TICKET_NAME]<br>[TICKET_DESCRIPTION] This is the result from a recent email: • Transaction ID: • Ticket Name: Show Ticket Can you help? |
Hi, are you running the latest version of Event Espresso 4 and are any caching services or caching plugins running on your site? Thanks — |

Hi Lorenzo – thanks for the quick reply. I saw an available update (Version 4.6.4.p) after I sent this question and have just now made the update. |
Hi! Could you send a new test registration through the system and let us know if the issue continues? Also, who is your webhost? Thanks — |

A test purchase has been made and the problem persists. Shortcode [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] doesn’t seem to work even in Dashboard preview. This site is at BlueHost. |
Hi, I tested that shortcode in multiple message types and was not able to duplicate the issue: http://cl.ly/image/1Z3k0X1g2I0X Could you deactivate Event Espresso 4 and remove it through WP Plugins. Then download a new copy and upload and activate through WP Plugins. Then go to Event Espresso –> Messages. From here click on settings and toggle the system to off and then back to on. Let us know if that helps. Thanks — |

Hi Lorenzo, In preview the quantity field is still empty. We have decided remove quantity from the email and add messaging instructing the customer to print the ‘ticket’ using the [RECEIPT_URL] shortcode, which seems to be working. Screenshot: If you find a fix, let us know! |
Hi, Just to note, the message preview feature is designed to give a rough overview of how your messages will look. Some shortcodes parse to values within registrations (or transactions but the same applies), the preview data is not a registration and therefore some shortcode will parse to and empty string within the preview. If you want to preview the exact message the easiest way is to add a registration to your event within the Admin, then use the ‘Resend Registration’ button – http://take.ms/Xswn9 The message sent will depend on the status of the registration, so if your changing the reg approved message type, make sure your registration is Approved. Then when finished, just set that registration to cancelled so it no longer applies to the event. |

The shortcode [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] does not work in the live emails, either. For now we have removed the quatity listing and are using a link to the PDF invoice instead. |
|
Just worked on another website with this plugin and found that shortcode [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] does not work on this website either. I think this is a bug. |
|
Same issue on our side. [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] is not showing |
Hi, We have managed to reproduce this and have opened a ticket for our developers to investigate, we will update this thread with any news. |

Thank you! |
Hi everyone, 4.6.10.p has been released with a fix for the [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] shortcode. We also included a new shortcode as [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] parses to the individual ticket qty, so if you purchase a tickets for 4 different ticket types, [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] shows the qty of each of those tickets. For example if I register for a total of 10 tickets across multiple ticket types – http://take.ms/LO8nW [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] displays each individual tickets qty – http://take.ms/l59Ra So if you simply want to display the total amount of tickets within the transaction you can now use [TXN_TOTAL_TICKETS] which in the example above just displays ’10’.
