I’ve followed the instruction given on this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/combining-registration-emails-for-multiple-events/#post-51305 to combine my registration emails into one. However, now the attendee is no longer receiving the e-mail that allows them to download the QR Ticket. For some reason, it is sent to the admin email instead. Suggestions?

I’ve removed all of the code that I had implemented previously. Now, not even the admin is receiving the the QR Ticket like it had previously.

Hi Bryce,

That thread basically explained how to stop sending Registration Confirmation emails and use the Payment Confirmation email for a similar use, which would only be sent after payment had been made.

So to revert have you removed the code from custom_functions.php?

What are the current settings for ‘Send payment confirmation emails?’ and ‘Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?’ within Event Espresso -> General Settings under Mail settings?

I’ve completed removed the custom_functions.php file, as well as reverted back to all original settings. This is the website I’m currently working on:

http://192.185.239.102/~charliem/register-orlando/

My settings under “General Settings” and then “Mail Settings” are as follows:

Send Payment confirmation e-mail: Yes
Send confirmation email before payment is received: No
Fancy email headers: Yes

Whenever I enter in dummy data, the registration confirmation is sent to the dummy e-mail, but the ticket information is sent to the administrator still for some reason.

The ticket link is always sent to the admin. Have you added the ticket link shortcode back into the registration email? I don’t think it’s in there by default.

Ha! It was that simple! Awesome. Thanks so much.

Is it possible to turn off the e-mail to the admin by default?

Hi Bryce,

There isn’t a setting for it. You could change the email address in Event Espresso > General Settings to a fake email so that the emails go nowhere.

If you wanted to do it on an event by event basis, you could again add a fake email but this time to the “Alternate Email Address (optional)” option in the event editor.
