The customers are not getting any emails with the confirmation of their tickets. I am getting this error when i try to generate and send the failed messages – Incoming data for the Gateways data handler must have an EE_Transaction object as the value for the first array index. EE_Messages_Gateways_incoming_data – __construct – 51

This event is selling fast and we are getting all this errors. Please help

Hi Roberto,

You can take a note of the transactions with failed messages, then delete them. Then go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings and set messages to send on same request.

Then you can go to Event Espresso > Registrations and Resend registration details from there.

is not working, when i hit the send ticket notice it shows this – http://www.boletosaqui.com is currently unable to handle this request. and the page is blank

I done this before contacting you – Event Espresso > Messages > Settings and set messages to send on same request. But all the messages are Queued For Generating

You can solve this by following this guide:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/

Please note that the checklist includes ruling out a plugin conflict and activating WP_DEBUG mode. Both of these steps are important. You may need to capture the error that led to the “is currently unable to handle this request”. After you activate WP_DEBUG mode you can try resending the messages again, then check the log file located in wp-content/debug.log.

Roberto Rubio

Have there been any other changes made to the website, by anyone else, in the last few days?

I’m afraid I’m having trouble accessing your website right now. Can you contact your host and ask them to investigate? Maybe the web server needs to be rebooted.

They couldn’t done anything because they note that event Espresso plugin was the issue. But GoDaddy made a malware scan and did the following…

It sounds like the site got hacked. Had anyone tried re-installing the Event Espresso plugin? That’d be the first thing I’d do if I could actually log into your website. I’m afraid I keep getting “The connection has timed out errors”. Are you able to log into the website?

Roberto Rubio

January 2, 2018 at 11:13 am

I requested the malware scan just because of the safety. But i was able to login a few minutes ago.

Are you able to log into the website or cpanel right now? The reason I ask is because when I try to log in to either, there’s a long pause, then this:

Hi Roberto,

There was this we found:

https://slack-files.com/T02SY781D-F8N9NFDPH-c425e11a5d

That folder (ending in .php) should actually be a file.

I can recommend deleting re-installing the Event Espresso plugin. If you have any issues with other plugins it would also be good to re-install those, especially if you see any folders where the folder names end with .php when looking at the plugin’s files.

Roberto Rubio

January 2, 2018 at 1:09 pm

okay i am doing that right now, so just re-install the event-espresso. core plugin or all the plugins i am using of event espresso?

Josh

You could reinstall all of them. While there may not be a need to re-install the add-ons, it will not hurt to do so. If any of the add-ons have files that were somehow changed to folders, reinstalling will avoid other issues similar to the fatal error that was causing the issue with messages. The same is true with any plugins you have activated on your website right now.

Hi Roberto,

You won’t be able to use FTP via Dreamweaver. Can you use the built in WordPress Plugins installer on the WP > Plugins page?

If not, I can recommend using a recommended FTP client like FileZilla or Cyberduck.

I did a test demo of an event and it seems to work now. But all of the others messages are still in the queued for sending…

You can take a note of the transactions with messages in the queue for sending, then delete them. Then go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings and set messages to send on same request.

Then you can go to Event Espresso > Registrations and Resend registration details from there.

January 2, 2018 at 3:20 pm

We recommend using a transactional email service + plugin. These services will help ensure email delivery. The documentation some information about some of the services available:
