I know this is a topic many have started, but I’m stumped on mine:
1. WP Mail Log shows no error
2. Tests from MailJet and SMTP plugin work
3. My message templates have the [CO_EMAIL] shortcode
4. I’ve deleted the CRON Events suggested in other posts for this topic
5. From General Settings, I have a valid email

Please advise if I’m missing something or should check something else? I can’t get any test email from EventEspresso or registration notification to work.

Hi there,

So does WP Mail Log and EE show the email as sent but you not receiving them?

EE shows the error for wp_mail and mentions if email addresses are correct
…which they are.

WP mail log shows no errors, but does have rows created for message

Hello.
We’ve turned off our security plugin and switched to default WP template.
I’ve tried the emails with our SMTP plugin and MailGun plugins in EventEspresso >> General Settings.

Still can’t send test emails nor can users via the front end get email notifications.

The error message from the front end/event EE registrations or back-end tests are:

The following errors have occurred:
The email did not send successfully.
The WordPress wp_mail function is used for sending mails but does not give any useful information when an email fails to send.
It is possible the “to” address (***@hotmail.com) or “from” address (****.org) is invalid.

Hi

Looks like testing with the Gravity Forms debug plugin, the MailJet plugin was the issue. MailJet has been disabled, and things are working now.

We installed MailJet per direction here:

Maybe this will help others. We are on GoDaddy…so not sure if others are seeing this too…may help.

Hi there,

One thing about Mailjet is you need to make sure the email address list in your Mailjet account matches the From email address you’re using in the Event Espresso email templates. See also:

Hi Josh…tried that too…didn’t work.
We also had Gravity Forms emails not working until we turned off MailJet.
